SYNTHETIC MEDIA. THE COMPLEX ETHICAL IMPLICATIONS OF DEEP FAKES AND VOICE SKINS

Mike is an MIT graduate with a solid background in Physics and applied Mathematics who in 2017 launched Modulate.ai a tech company specialised in Voice Skins and voice moderation tools. Me and Azeem [@azeemk_] had the pleasure to virtually sit down with him and some of his synthetic voices to discuss the moral implications of the rapidly evolving field of synthetic media and deep fakes, the importance of self-regulation in the tech sphere, opportunities and risks.
